Investing in the development of the Poipet Commune
The Poi Pet Commune is where most of the women and their families live. This is one of the poorest part of the country. Through the proceeds from the sale of our carpets, Carpets for Communities continually reinvest the money into the development of the commune. Through empowerment, the women play an active role in deciding where the funds are most needed.
