Green Carpet Soiree Fundraiser is an initiative of the Brisbane Chapter of Carpets for Communities. The event will be a part of the SIX Australia (Social Innovation Exchange Australia) Changemakers Festival, Australia’s national celebration of social change. The event will bring together guests looking to learn more about social change and social innovation and will feature:
- a special screening of Spinning Dreams Cambodia, a film which captures the spirit of adventure and humanity in an inspiring and moving documentary of a 400km journey across Indo-China undertaken by 9 young cyclists to raise awareness for sustainable livelihoods and development
- a networking reception providing guests with an opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals
- silent auction, raffle draw and other entertainment throughout the night!
