Chan Na is a 19-year old who dreams of going to University in Phnom Penh. She is about to finish her last high school exams in August and looks forward to continue her education.
At the moment our social worker is talking with Chan Na to support her in choosing her study direction. At first Chan Na was thinking to study English Literature, but as her English is probably not at the right level she changed her mind. Now she is thinking of studying Community Development, which would enable her to support disadvantaged families to a better future. Coming from a disadvantaged family of 11 children, we believe that this would be a great direction for Chan Na to take.
When Chan Na goes to University, she’ll be the first of her family ever to go. We are excited to provide her with this opportunity and are now looking for sponsors to financially support Chan Na.
The CFC Scholarship provides full financial support for 4 years of study. At a total of $1600 p/year it covers the tuition fee, basic living costs, and other study costs such as books and materials.
